The Butterfly Hospice basis seems to be care and respect for all individuals concerned, not just the patient. During my mum's stay they communicated with me at all times, always took time out to talk to me about any of my needs. Always offered me a cup of tea or coffee if they brought one in for mum and were alround the most considerate people I can ask for.
A lovely team
The one year old question air needs updating. It also does not make sense of what is being asked. The health visitor should interact with the child instead as talk to the parent so it is not just paperwork and more actual care and interaction. This in turn will help the mother relax and open up about anything she wants to discuss. Also the weigh in clinics need to come back, this is not just about weigh in but interaction and support again especially for first time mothers. My child's one year check was cancelled twice and had to insist i was booked in third time on the phone instead of waiting for a letter again and more time passing.
